GOURMAND WORLD COOKBOOK AWARDS 2003 WE ORGANIZE NOW 50 NATIONAL OR REGIONAL COMPETITIONS We received 15% more books this year. There is an increase both in the quality and the quantity of new titles of books published. We estimate the total of titles for food and wine books to be over 24.000. The results for the first level of the competition will be announced at the end of November. All the winners of the 50 national or regional competitions will be notified individually by November 28. These winners compete for Best in the World, which will be announced at the Barcelona Gala Dinner on February 27,2004, with El Bulli Catring.
