 | | | 2000 BEST CHEF There are more and more star chefs spread across the culinary universe. Beyond excellent recipes and a high publishing quality, a good chef book has to show the personality and character which make the star. Three chefs, Alain Dutournier, Andrés Madrigal and Kiyomi Mikuni showed real talent in writing personnally their texts. Madrigal also is the photographer for his book. Mikuni is in the Literary Food writing section as there are no recipes in his book, a key criteria for judging chefs books. Alain Dutournier won the French La Mazille Prize, and Dieter Müller the International La Mazille Prize, the two top prizes in this competition, for best in all categories.
