GOURMAND AWARDS

CHATEAU DE BRISSAC  FEBRUARY28, 2003

Some of the many nicewords we have received the days after the Brissac Gourmand Awards  :

- Heinz Beck is literally bursting with chef-pride and is busy  giving interviews to all of the newspapers in Rome. In short, it has been a week to remember and one which  reminded us why we wanted to get into this crazy business in the first place. Thank you again for the enormous  vote of confidence which the award represents. We will do our best to live up to it.

- It was great to catch up with so many 'old' friends, and to see Ferran Adria (and tomeet Ferran's wife) and Julie Soler.
Our stay in the Chateau was marvellous and both of the suites we
occupied were grand and very comfortable.
